Ruth is a graduate of NUI Galway (B.A.; LL.B.) and the University of Notre Dame (LL.M. in International Human Rights Law), where she attended on a Fulbright scholarship. She has previously worked with the Department of Foreign Affairs in Geneva and in a busy general practice law firm in Dublin. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2022 and has experience in criminal and civil litigation, public law and judicial review.
