Jacinta graduated with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Limerick and trained as a solicitor with MacGuill & Company, qualifying in 2005.
She worked for many years in litigation particularly in areas of public law, judicial review, applications to the Residential Institutions Redress Board and the Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse. She also has significant criminal law experience being involved in cases before the Special Criminal Court and Central Criminal Court.
In more recent years she has focused on areas of general practice such as conveyancing, probate, contentious probate litigation, Wards of Court applications and Enduring Powers of Attorney, along with general High Court litigation. In addition, she is a legal representative for involuntarily detained patients pursuant to the Mental Health Act, 2001.
